Johannes Amritzer and his wife Maria are the founders and apostolic leaders of the SOS Movement. They live and breathe the “Book of Acts” kind of lifestyle and Johannes never misses an opportunity to preach the good news of Jesus to anyone. Whether it be in rural Africa or busy Europe, it makes no difference to him, he finds a way to present Jesus in the best way possible.

Nowadays you usually find him on the African continent where the ministry he started almost 30 years ago reaches hundreds of thousands with the gospel every year and see crippled walk, mute speak and deaf hear. He loves a good laugh with friends, hunting in all parts of the world and he is deadly in a card game!

Rev Dr. Huruma Nkone

Rev. Dr. Huruma Nkone is a passionate and visionary leader dedicated to empowering individuals to fulfill their divine purpose. Originally trained as an architectural engineer, he later embraced his true calling to ministry, earning a degree in theology and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership.

As the senior pastor of Victory Christian Center in Mbezi Beach, Tanzania, Rev. Nkone leads a vibrant congregation of over 3,000 attendees. Under his dynamic leadership, the church is currently undertaking a transformative project to construct a 5,000-seat facility—a US$2 million initiative that reflects his commitment to fostering spiritual growth and community impact.

Rev. Nkone is also a prolific author whose works on success, family, marriage, and faith inspire readers to live purposeful and fulfilling lives. His unwavering faith and insightful teachings have made him a trusted guide for many, and his longstanding connection with the SOS movement has enriched its mission since the early days and.
